Hello! My name is Iain and I'll be your guide.

I am Scottish, live in Edinburgh, and am a keen amateur historian.

Edinburgh History Guides is my own company, so I may be the only tour company in Edinburgh that can guarantee that your guide will be Scottish!

My tours started in April 2025, and this website in June 2025, so although I don't have hundreds of reviews yet, I'm proud of my existing 5-star reviews from visitors from different countries.
